Students at the Community Learning Center (CLC) visit the Minnesota Zoo in March as part of an Interdisciplinary Unity. While there they took and submitted photos to be voted the best MN Zoo photo.

The South St. Paul School Board is accepting applications for the 2024-25 Student School Board Representative. Applications are due April 19, 2024.

Volunteers facilitators are needed to assist in the Junior Achievement Finance Park trip for CLC students in January.

Information for Community Learning Center students for the start of the 2023-24 school year.
Minnesota has two tax relief programs for families with children in kindergarten through 12th grade: the K-12 Education Subtraction, and the K-12 Education Credit. Both programs help lower taxes and may provide a larger refund.

Anatomy & Physiology students at the CLC began their dissection inquiry labs with a dissection of salmon heads.

CLC students participated in interdisciplinary lessons concentrated on team building and building courage and resilience in the face of adversity that culminated in a field trip to Base Camp.

CLC students are using clay to make bone models. The science class is using a disarticulated skeleton from the Science Museum to help them with the detailed models.

Free fresh and healthy food is coming to South St. Paul. All SSP residents are invited to The Open Door Mobile Food Pantry.
The Community Learning Center (CLC) is using Interdisciplinary Units to help students connect the dots between math, science, art, and history. With Interdisciplinary Units students explore the different subject areas under one theme.

Students at the Community Learning Center (CLC) traveled to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska, MN for one of their Interdisciplinary Units. They used their art knowledge of photography for a friendly photo competition.
